WHAT WE DID
Kentera Events organised a two day conference and team building incentive that would enable Decor staff to launch their new line of items and discuss internal strategies for 2010. Guests were put up at The Sebel Heritage in the Yarra Valley, which provided the perfect peaceful setting where the team could knuckle down and concentrate on the tasks at hand. Day one comprised of a full day’s conferencing followed by an onsite welcome dinner that continued on well into the night.


With day two came the onset of heavy rain; however this did not deter our guests when they took part in the teambuilding activity located 15 minutes drive away at Challenge Valley. Each guest stepped out of their comfort zone, as this activity challenged their courage, determination and confidence with twenty testing obstacles. From a 10 foot log wall to a 20 foot high cargo net and Tarzan swing, the entire group united together and worked as a team to overcome each hurdle and on top of that, come out more inspired and rewarded then before.

With such an action packed day behind them, it was time for the team at Decor to relax and enjoy some of the Yarra Valleys best wine and local produce. Guests were taken offsite to an establishment called Helens Hill Estate for wine tasting, followed by dinner at The Vines Restaurant. With dinner came the entertainment and on the menu tonight was the amazing Singing Waiters. After spending the first part of the evening being disguised as real staff and behaving in a rather strange manner, guests were gobsmacked when the three waiters burst out in song during the main course. This topped off an amazing weekend and certainly an event to remember.
