WHAT YOU DID: Kentera Events participated in an ultimate adventure experience
in the ‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ Rotorua NZ. Bringing together Schweppes Retailers from across Australia,
Kentera Events had the task of showcasing this amazing tourism icon spanning across six jam packed days. Whether seeking to
unearth the Maori Culture, relaxing in the healing waters of the mineral springs or opting for the thrills of Rotorua's
adrenaline pumping adventure activities - this multicultural district has it all and best of all our strong Aussie dollar
meant that we got much more than we bargained for.
Throughout the event guests were able to take part in a variety of activities that ranged from
4WD Bush safari adventures to cruising along Lake Rotoiti in a luxurious 53 foot catamaran. Guests were welcomed to escape
into one of Rotorua’s most impressive natural wonders, Redwoods Forest. This became the setting to an incredible luncheon
experience, surrounded by ferns and native bush.

Once the stars came out, guests were treated to a glamorous
red carpet experience at the Historic Blue Baths. Upon arrival guests were able to have their photos taken with some classic
vintage cars while they sipped on cocktails, they were then lead through the original bathing change rooms to the main poolside
where the local synchronized swimmers put on an entertaining show. Fun and and games continued throughout the night in the
stylish Vegas Lounge, where guests spent their chips on roulette wheels while enjoying the magic of the live cabaret music
and quality NZ food and wines.
SPECIAL
TOUCHES: As guests were left overwhelmed by the endless array of activities on hand, they were also taken back by
the unique and stylish choice of accommodation. Situated 15 minutes drive from central Rotorua, The Duxton Hotel is set on
the beautiful shores of Lake Rotoiti. Exclusive to our guests, the hotel was their own little slice of paradise and in such
magnificent surroundings who can complain about that? Every day was designed to “Wow” our guests and leave them
with a new experience.
